    • 1.Why must the short-circuit resistance be controlled below 5mΩ or 10mΩ?

      Most international standards such as UN38.3 require extremely low external short-circuit resistance to simulate the most severe extreme short-circuit conditions. If the internal resistance of the equipment circuit is too high, it will result in insufficient peak short-circuit current, making it impossible to truly and accurately evaluate the safety performance of the battery.
    • 2.What is the impact of sampling frequency on the short-circuit test?

      The current change during the moment of battery short circuit is extremely intense and belongs to a microsecond-level transient process. If the sampling frequency is too low (for example, collecting once every 1 second), it will be impossible to capture the true peak current. This device supports the highest 1000Hz (1ms interval) high-speed sampling, which can fully record the entire process data curve.
    • 3.Can the short-circuit resistance be switched according to different standards?

      OK. We offer a multi-range resistance switching solution. Through software or manual insertion and removal of the switch, you can quickly switch between different specifications such as 5mΩ, 20mΩ, and 80mΩ, meeting various standard testing requirements.
