However, if you are involved in automotive, aerospace or high-performance coating research and development and need to simulate the corrosive environment of alternating dry and wet conditions found in the real world, then a cyclic corrosion test chamber (CCT) is your ideal choice.

2. How to calibrate the salt spray deposition rate?1. Tools for preparation:
Use a standard funnel with a diameter of 100mm (with a collection area of approximately 80cm²) and connect it to a graduated cylinder.
2. Placement:
Place at least two collectors in the box: one close to the nozzle and one far from the nozzle. Ensure there is no sample obstruction above and no condensate dripping from the top cover is collected.
3. Test duration:
Conduct continuous spray tests for at least 16 hours (minimum of no less than 8 hours) to obtain accurate average values.
