    What is the ESS

    Environmental Stress Screening is a screening test during the production process. By applying environmental stresses such as temperature cycles, rapid temperature changes, and vibrations, it artificially accelerates the aging of the products, exposing potential defects (such as poor soldering, poor contact, material flaws, etc.) in advance, thus preventing the products from failing at the user end after leaving the factory.

    Process Advantages:

    • 1.How to choose between linear temperature variation and nonlinear temperature variation

    • 2.Is the temperature variation rate referring to the temperature of the circulating air in the box or the temperature of the product surface?

      It generally refers to the temperature at the outlet of the box. If you need to measure the surface temperature of the sample, a mobile sensor can be selected for monitoring.
    • 3.Why is the rapid temperature change box more expensive than the ordinary high/low temperature box?

      Because it requires the installation of a more powerful compressor and more precise control algorithms, and its structure needs to be strengthened to withstand the thermal expansion and contraction stress caused by significant temperature differences.
