    FAQ
    • What is the maximum altitude this device can simulate?

Our standard model can simulate low-pressure environments ranging from normal pressure to 0.5 kPa, corresponding to altitudes of approximately 30,000 to 45,000 meters. For special test requirements, an upgraded high-grade vacuum system can be adopted to further achieve deep-space environment simulations with pressures as low as 100 Pa or even lower.
    • How can I determine the appropriate chamber size based on my test samples?

It is recommended that the sample volume should not exceed one third of the volume of the laboratory. This ensures uniformity of air extraction inside the chamber and facilitates loading and unloading. For tests involving electricity and heat generation, it also reserves sufficient space for heat exchange and auxiliary cooling devices.
    • What impact does a low-pressure environment have on the heat dissipation of electronic products?

In a low-pressure environment, the air becomes thinner and convective heat dissipation decreases significantly. If the product generates a large amount of heat during operation, please inform us in advance. We will recalculate the cooling system configuration based on the actual heat load and assess whether additional liquid cooling or forced air cooling solutions are needed.
    • Can the chamber size and terminal post specifications be customized?

Yes. Both the internal chamber dimensions and the terminal post size (300A–400A range) and quantity can be customized to meet your specific testing requirements. The internal material thickness (standard t=3.0mm) is also available for customization upon request.
    • What safety features are included to protect operators during battery testing?

The chamber is equipped with multiple safety mechanisms including explosion-proof pressure relief doors, 2 explosion-proof chains on the door, an automatic fire extinguishing device, smoke sensing monitoring, leakage protection, a safety emergency stop switch, a three-color light alarm, and an independent manual pressure relief valve for use during power outages.
    • Which international standards does this low-pressure test chamber comply with?

This chamber is designed to comply with UN 38.3 (lithium battery transport testing), MIL-STD-810G (US military environmental engineering standard), and IEC 60068-2-13 (environmental testing for reduced pressure). It is suitable for battery, aerospace, electronics, and packaging industry testing requirements.
