Simulated high-altitude low-pressure test chamber

The simulated high-altitude low-pressure test machine precisely simulates the low-pressure environment at altitudes ranging from 0 to 50,000 meters (corresponding to an air pressure of 101.3 kPa to 10 Pa) within a sealed chamber. It often combines high and low temperatures as well as humidity, and is used to verify the sealing performance, structural strength, electrical insulation, heat dissipation, and functional stability of products under conditions of high altitude / plateau / air transportation.

    FAQ

    • 1.What is the maximum altitude (in meters) that this device can simulate?

Our standard model can simulate low-pressure environments ranging from normal pressure to 0.5 kPa, corresponding to altitudes of approximately 30,000 to 45,000 meters. For special test requirements, an upgraded high-grade vacuum system can be adopted to further achieve deep-space environment simulations with pressures as low as 100 Pa or even lower.
    • 2.How can I determine the appropriate size of the studio based on my test samples?

It is recommended that the sample volume should not exceed one third of the volume of the laboratory. This measure not only facilitates the loading and unloading of the samples, but also ensures the uniformity of air extraction inside the chamber. At the same time, in tests involving electricity and heat generation, it can reserve sufficient space for the installation of heat exchange and auxiliary cooling devices.
    • 3.What impact does a low-pressure environment have on the heat dissipation of electronic products?

In a low-pressure environment, the air becomes thinner, and the convective heat dissipation effect will significantly decrease. If the product being tested generates a large amount of heat during operation, please inform us in advance. We will re-calculate the cooling system configuration based on the actual heat load and assess whether additional liquid cooling or forced air cooling and other auxiliary heat dissipation solutions are needed.
