Thermal Shock Chamber

The thermal shock test chamber is used to test the stability of products under sudden alternation of high and low temperatures. Through a very short period of time of intense switching between high temperature and low temperature, it simulates drastic temperature changes and exposes defects such as cracks and failures caused by the thermal expansion and contraction of materials.

    FAQ

    • 1.What are the differences between the three-box type cold and heat shock test chamber and the two-box type?

    • 2.What are the requirements of the equipment for the installation environment?

Ground: The surface should be solid and level, capable of bearing the weight of the equipment (for large equipment, it can reach 1 to 2 tons).
Space: A distance of 60–100cm,should be reserved around the equipment for heat dissipation and maintenance operations.
Ventilation: The environment should be well-ventilated. It is recommended that the environmental temperature be within 5℃ to 30℃, to avoid a decrease in cooling efficiency or high-pressure alarms.
    • 3.How to choose between air cooling and water cooling?

Air-cooled: Installation is simple; just connect power and it can be used. It is suitable for small equipment or laboratories with low ambient temperatures.
Water-cooled: It has higher heat dissipation efficiency and is not limited by ambient temperature. It is suitable for high-power equipment and enclosed spaces, but it requires a cooling water tower and pipeline layout.
